Honiton Devlopment Trust

Reflecting the experience of MCTi  in other areas and Honiton's own circumstances, we set up the Honiton Development Trust in March 2006. The Trust is: 

• a body helping to give coherence to regeneration and development initiatives for the area
• a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, dedicated to developing and enhancing the local economy, amenities and facilities for the benefit of the residents and business community of Honiton and surrounding area
• designed as an open, accountable body with a broad community-based membership - any individual and organisation committed to the Trust’s principal objectives can join
• keen to stimulate community involvement and engagement with local issues, working with others to allow the community's voice to be heard clearly
• able to help with decision-making on matters affecting the community, as well as helping to actively manage the changes the future inevitably brings
